🧠 Advanced Prompting Techniques

Clone a Competitor's Site Structure

Go to this URL and analyze its layout, navigation structure, and UX patterns: [URL]

Recreate the structure for my business: [YOUR BUSINESS NAME AND DESCRIPTION].

Keep the same page hierarchy and section flow, but apply my brand: [COLORS, TONE, CONTENT].

Match a Visual Style Without Cloning

Generate a website with this visual aesthetic: [DESCRIBE STYLE]

Examples of the vibe I want:
- [Reference site 1]
- [Reference site 2]

Do NOT copy content from these — only the design language: typography weight, whitespace usage, color contrast, and section layout.

Iterating After Generation

Use these in the AI chat after your site is generated:

Make the hero section full screen with a centered headline and a gradient overlay on the background image.
Add a "How It Works" section between the hero and the services block. Use 3 numbered steps with icons.
Change the entire color scheme to [COLOR 1] for primary, [COLOR 2] for background, [COLOR 3] for accents.
Make the typography bolder throughout — increase heading sizes and use a high-contrast font pairing.
Add a sticky navigation bar that stays visible when scrolling.
Generate an FAQ section at the bottom of the page with 6 questions about [YOUR TOPIC].

📅 Daily Workflow

For agencies billing client work:

  1. Client sends a brief → you open Readdy → paste the brief as a generation prompt

  2. First generation takes ~30 seconds → review and identify what to adjust

  3. Use AI chat to refine sections — 3 to 5 iterations covers most sites

  4. Export Figma file → send to client for sign-off

  5. After approval → export code or publish from Readdy

  6. Deliver in hours, not weeks

For freelancers managing your own site:

  1. Use Credit Guard freely — generate, review, undo, try again

  2. Keep a personal prompt library (save your best prompts somewhere)

  3. Use version history to roll back any edits that go wrong

  4. Update sections with the AI chat instead of rebuilding from scratch

💡 Tips & Tricks

Be specific about tone. "Professional" is vague. "Confident, direct, no fluff — like a Bloomberg article" is actionable.

Give Readdy your actual copy. The AI writes decent placeholder copy, but feeding it your real headline, tagline, and value prop produces a much tighter first draft.

Use Credit Guard aggressively. A bad generation costs you nothing if you undo it immediately. Don't settle for a mediocre first output.

Generate structure first, polish second. Get the page layout and section order right before you start tweaking colors and typography.

URL cloning is underused. Find a site with a layout you love, paste the URL, and let Readdy do the heavy lifting on structure. Then swap in your content.

Version history is your safety net. Before making major changes, Readdy auto-saves. Experiment freely — you can always roll back.

Mobile is automatic. Don't stress about responsiveness. Every layout Readdy generates adapts to mobile and tablet automatically. Check it, but you rarely need to fix it.
